A still-life of bronzes, notably mostly for illustrating the razor-thin depth of field for my 50mm lens when wide open at f/1.2 -- 2nd figure from the left is in focus, but every figure to its right (as viewed) is progressively OOF.

Our leader David liked weathered and distressed doors, so here's one.

I have no idea what this shop was selling, but the look was typical of so many we saw

It was a sunny and hot day in Jaisalmer, but no one seemed to be buying. At least his "shop" was in the shade

A portrait of Indian labor -- it's been like this for hundreds or thousands of years, is back-breaking in nature, and is often unisex

At entrance to the Jagdish Temple in Udaipur. The feet on which the woman is placing an offering belong to the goddess Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity. She is the wife and shakti (energy) of Vishnu, one of the principal deities of Hinduism and the Supreme Being in the Vaishnavism Tradition. Lakshmi is also an important deity in Jainism and found in Jain temples. (Wikipedia) We frequently saw little decals or Lakshmi's feet at entrances everywhere.

You think Indians might like peppers? Most of the food prepared for us left out the hottest spices.

A deep fried pastry confection soaked in honey. Delicious but not at all good for me.
