India - Places

"Places" photos from the cities and monuments we visited. Some include people, most are solely of structures. Few are grand panoramas. A large number were taken as hand-held High Dynamic Range images, usually at +/- 2 stops exposure, thus leading to as much as ten total stops of light and intricate detail that would otherwise be lost in highlights or shadows. (Those are noted in the photo caption as "HDR Image."

Not included here are photos from Holi (in Mathura), photos from Varanasi, or photos from Sarnath, all of which have their own sets presented separately.
